Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026.
League Aura is currently a private prototype. This policy describes the data used by the desktop client and hosted scouting service.
Data we process
- Riot IDs, champion selections, roles, and public match-history statistics required to provide scouting.
- Temporary technical information such as IP address and server request metadata needed for security and abuse prevention.
- Locally stored companion preferences and cached scouting results on the user's own computer.
Private alpha requests
If you request alpha access, we store your name or nickname, email, optional role and testing notes, confirmation that you use Windows and agree to contact, submission date, and review status. We use these details to review your request and contact you about testing. Your request is stored on our hosting provider, Railway, and is available to the project operator through a password-protected review page. It is not a public profile or an app account.
Requests are retained while the private testing program is active, unless you ask the project operator to delete yours. We do not add you to a marketing mailing list or send an automatic invitation when you submit.
What we do not request
We do not request or store Riot account passwords. The desktop client does not send League Client authentication credentials to the hosted server.
Purpose
Data is used only to provide the companion's scouting, matchup, and related testing features, operate the service, cache repeated public-data requests, and diagnose failures.
Retention
Historical scouting summaries may be cached to reduce Riot API usage and improve load time. Prototype server logs and cache entries may be deleted or reset at any time during testing.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information or player data. Riot data is retrieved from Riot's developer APIs and is not offered as a standalone data-broker service.
